Training Unit

Welcome to the DDSD Training & Knowledge Management Bureau (TKMB). We are made up of regional training and development specialists, an advocacy trainer, a training manager, and a bureau chief. We offer trainings, support, resources and technical assistance to trainers, agencies, and others providing support to the people on each of the waivers operated by DDSD.

Required Training

The DDW Waiver, Mi Via Waiver, Supports Waiver and Medically Fragile Waiver all have training requirements by job classification. Please view our Training Requirements by Job Classification

Self-Advocacy Project

DDSD supports individuals to co-facilitate core curriculum trainings with the TKMB as well as provider trainers. DDSD also supports individuals to take part in Division initiatives, advocacy groups, and technical assistance across the state of New Mexico.
