How to Switch Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) Health Plan
HCA allows Medicaid enrolled members to change his/her Managed Care Organization (MCO) health plan (per state regulation 8.308.7.9 I NMAC) selection outside of the annual recertification period for cause, such as but not limited to:  poor quality of care, lack of access to covered benefits, or lack of access to providers experienced in dealing with the member’s health care needs.
